Renewal of the 9‐1‐1 call centre’s certificate of compliance

The Châteauguay Centralized Emergency Call Service (CECS) is proud to announce that its certificate of compliance has been renewed by the Ministère de la Sécurité publique for a two‐year period.

Further to a verification of the call centre, the Department stated that the services meet the requirements of the Civil Protection Act and the Regulation respecting standards, specifications and quality criteria applicable to 9‐1‐1 emergency centres and to certain secondary emergency call centres.

This is the third certification of the Châteauguay CECS since the adoption of the by‐law in 2012. The service is the first in Montérégie to comply year‐after‐year with the requirements of the Ministère de la Sécurité publique.

In addition to being a guarantee of quality and efficiency for people in the Châteauguay region, this certification is mandatory for continuing the call centre’s operations.
