Accessibility

The City of Châteauguay is recognizing the importance of making its website accessible to everyone, including to people who are using assistive technologies to navigate the Internet.

During the development and content integration of our website, we committed to respect the existing accessibility standards, in order to make sure it will be easy to use.

The HTML structure of the website is built to facilitate the navigation with the help of a screen reader. The navigation menus are HTML lists and all the links are read at the beginning of the page and can be skipped easily. The website is optimized for screens with a resolution of 1024x768 pixels or grater. On lower resolutions you'll have to scroll horizontally.
