A Busy Spring

After one or two surprises from Mother Nature, spring is finally here. Spring-cleaning is well underway as we spruce up the house, empty the garage and the attic and prepare for garage sales. In the yard, we prepare flowerbeds, plan new ones, open the swimming pool and arrange garden furniture.

This spring, dozens of volunteers are also busy spring-cleaning around the municipality. This year once again, Les Amis et Riverains de la rivière Châteauguay (ARRC) is organizing the Big Cleanup of the banks of the Châteauguay River which is scheduled to take place on May 19. 

After months of practice, cultural groups of the municipality will be presenting their end of year show. Dancing, singing, music, theatre, etc.: our budding artists will be presenting the result of their group endeavours throughout the city

I urge you therefore to consult your Châteauguay Magazine to acquaint yourself with the various events that are scheduled. You will, no doubt, appreciate the commitment of our fellow citizens who work through all sorts of organizations, associations and clubs to bring vibrancy and life to our community.
