Passeport-loisir / Registration

Your reduction card

Have you obtained your Passeport-loisir yet? At a minimal cost per resident or for the entire family and valid for a period of 3 years, this passport allows you to save on numerous activities and outings, while it is obligatory to own one in other occasions (registration, rental, etc.). Non-residents can also obtain a passport that is valid for one year from the date of purchase at a reasonable cost.

Issuing and Renewing a Passeport-loisir

You must present yourself at the recreation department service counter in the Centre culturel Vanier with a piece of identification and proof of residency. To obtain a family Passeport-loisir, proof of residency must be supplied for each member of the family, who must all be present for the taking of the photos.

Proofs of residency (name and address on the same document):
– adults: lease, driver's permit, recent bill or tax bill from the current year,
– children: a school report card for the current year or a hospital identification card or a birth certificate.

Cost:

Residents (valid for 3 years)
$6/person
$10/family (a passeport is issued for each person)
Non-residents (valid for one year starting on the date of its purchase)
$60/person

Refund policy for the activities

Should the participant quit or be expelled, no refund will be paid. An administration fee of 15%, with a minimum of $15, will be charged for any request for a refund before the start of the activity. A refund, pro-rated to the amount of service received (less the 15% administration fee, minimum $15) will be paid if the registered individual is unable to participate in a permanent fashion due to illness; he or she must present a medical certificate, no later than ten days following the start of the illness. A complete refund (without penalty) will be paid only if the City of Châteauguay cancels or modifies the conditions of the activity before it starts.

If the participant is not present at the time and place specified, the City will not be held responsible and will not provide a refund.

Please note that there is a fee of $35 for any cheque returned for insufficient funds.

The City of Châteauguay reserves the right to cancel or modify any activity where the number of participants does not reach the required minimum.
