Waste collection and recycling
Waste Management

Recycling Collection
Since the recycling is collected with a truck using a robotic claw, the 360 litre bin must be positioned correctly, on the side of the road; a 0.6 m (2 foot) space must be left on each side as well as behind the bin. During the winter, the snowplow must be able to accomplish its task
The wheels and handles must be facing the house while the recycling logo, on the front of the bin, must be facing the street.
To obtain a new bin if yours is broken, contact the public works department of the city of Châteauguay at 450.698.3150.
