The call for artist records in visual arts is until December 7

Galerie La Seigneurie

In order to support local and regional visual artists, Ville de Châteauguay invites interested artists to submit their candidacy for the visual programming of Galerie La Seigneurie. The selected artists will see their work exhibited at the Centre culturel G.-P.-Vanier gallery during the year 2020.

The presentation file must include the following elements:

  • An up to date curriculum vitae;
  • A text describing the project (maximum one page);
  • A text on the artistic approach of the project (maximum one page);
  • From 10 to 20 high-definition (HD) digital photographs on CD or USB key, with a minimum resolution of 300 dots per inch (DPI). The photographs must be taken from a recent production and be accompanied by a descriptive list of the works (title, year, medium(s), and dimensions);
  • A press kit, if applicable;
  • An envelope stamped and addressed for the return of the file. Only files with a return envelope will be returned.

 

No exhibition projects submitted by email will be accepted. The documents must be mailed to the following address:

As part of th programming of the Galerie La Seigneurie, the chosen artists benefit from many advantages such as technical assistance in setting-up and dismantling the exhibition, sending invitations and organizing a vernissage.

The deadline to submit a project is Saturday, December 7, 2019.
