Héritage Saint-Bernard wins in the category for Attractions with 25,000 to 100,000 visitors

Thursday, 29 March, 2012

The City of Châteauguay would like to congratulate Héritage Saint-Bernard and its employees for taking home honours in the category of Attractions with 25,000 to 100,000 visitors in the Grands Prix de Tourisme Montérégie, revealed in Brossard yesterday.

Led by Luc L’Écuyer, the environmental organization that manages the Refuge faunique Marguerite-d’Youville located on Saint-Bernard Island and the Centre écologique Fernand-Seguin was a resounding success with the presentation of the 2011 edition of the Éco-marché de l’île.

“I join all citizens of Châteauguay to congratulate the people of Héritage Saint-Bernard who daily meet the significant challenge of preserving the magnificent locations that make up the Refuge faunique Marguerite-d’Youville on Saint-Bernard Island and the Centre écologique Fernand-Seguin”, indicated the Mayor of Châteauguay, Nathalie Simon.

This well deserved honour is also the product of excellent cooperation between Héritage Saint-Bernard and the Direction de la vie citoyenne of the City of Châteauguay.

“I invite anyone who has not already experienced these enchanting grounds to visit them!”, concluded Mrs Simon.
