A new agreement between the City of Châteauguay and its management personnel

Thursday, 10 November, 2011

Châteauguay, Thursday, November 10, 2011 – The City of Châteauguay has signed a new agreement setting the working conditions of its management personnel.

This new agreement has a duration of six years (2010-2015) and reinforces the partnership that unites the City with its managers.

It should be noted that the parties came together to carry out a complete revision of the agreement, all to ensure the competitiveness of the working conditions of management staff, while allowing more flexibility.

As is only right, the Mayor of Châteauguay, Nathalie Simon, is delighted with this new agreement. “The managers are an important pillar of our administration and a vehicle for change we are please to count on.”

The managers are also very conscious of the economic and financial difficulties and so are committed to reviewing the main benefits, notably insurance and the retirement plan, in order to minimize the financial impact on the City. In addition, the management staff said that they are prepared to consider remuneration based on organizational and individual performance.
