Saturday, October 3: Non-perishable food drive at the Agora and Metro Plus

A non-perishable food drive, organized by the Châteauguay Food Bank, will take place on Saturday, October 3 at the Agora (75, boul. Maple).

Exceptionally, due to COVID-19, volunteers will not go through the doors to collect food. A drop-off point will be set up at the Agora, where people are invited to drive-up, stay in their car, open the trunk and then let a volunteer take the donation from the car.

Volunteers from the Châteauguay Food Bank will also be present in front of the Metro Plus food market, located at 105 rue Principale, to receive donations. These volunteers will be installed near a truck bearing the City's colors.

All non-perishable food is accepted, but the following items are particularly in demand:

-  Spaghetti sauces

-  Soups

-  Peanut butter

-  Tuna/Canned meal

-  Cereals

-  Cookies/Snacks

-  Juice/Juice boxes

-  Canned vegetables

-  Canned fruits

The 2020 edition of the food drive is held in memory of Milton Dodds and Bruce Ryan.

Be generous!
