Branch collection

Organized branch collections

The City reserves the right to organize branch collections, usually in the spring and fall. The next collection will be held during the weeks of May 4th and May 11th. People who wish to dispose of their branches must ensure that they are installed at the curbside no later than Sunday, May 3.

Specifications to be respected

The branches must not be attached and must be arranged perpendicular to the street. They must also have a maximum diameter of 10 cm (4 inches) and a maximum length of 10 feet. If the branches do not meet these specifications, they will not be picked up.

In order to ensure an efficient and fair collection service for all citizens, it is required to deposit branches in reasonable quantities.

This collection is one of branches only.

Will not be picked up:

  • Logs and stumps
  • Branches with soil clods
  • Vines and yard waste
  • Wooden boards and building materials
  • Intertwined branches

It is also possible to call the City Hall to request that the branches be picked up by the municipality by means of an individual collection. A $35 fee applies for such collection, which takes place within 10 working days.
