Photo contest : « Châteauguay… what a story! » 2020 edition

Ville de Châteauguay, in collaboration with Maison LePailleur, offers amateur and professional photographers the opportunity to make their citizen vision known through a photographic contest and an outdoor exhibition.

Installed on the outdoor site of the former Maison Gravel and first presented as part of the Journées de la culture, the exhibition will continue until the end of November. In addition, prizes will be awarded to three (3) photographers who stand out.

The photos can feature the history of the city, local residents or breath-taking landscapes and sites. The competition is primarily a great way to have your say as a citizen and share your experience and perspective.

NEW THIS YEAR: “View from the River” theme, which is not a contemplative view OF the Châteauguay River from the banks, but the opposite: a view of the city from the water. The opening of the Nautical Centre and the Pointe nautique this summer offers a great opportunity to get out on the water and use that unique standpoint for an unusual view of the city.

Once again this year, you can get help from a library attendant to complete the registration form. To make an appointment, call 450-698-3078.
