March 24: 15th annual St-Patrick's Day Parade in Châteauguay

The 15th edition of the St. Patrick's Day parade, presented by the Châteauguay and Valley Irish Heritage Association in collaboration with Ville de Châteauguay, will take place on Sunday, March 24, starting at 1 p.m.
All citizens of Châteauguay, their parents, friends and neighbors from the surrounding municipalities are invited to participate in the colorful party event. Those who plan to attend the parade will also be able to demonstrate their "Irish fiber" by wearing green!
Disturbed traffic
In order to guarantee a safe parade, some arteries of the municipality will be closed the day of the event, from 10 a.m.  to 3 p.m. for some streets.
During this period, no parking will be allowed on Lepailleur, Guy and Yvon Streets. One way-lane on D'Anjou Boulevard will be open in the east direction (toward Saint-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard) from the entrance of the Châteauguay Regional Center parking lot, facing the Super C, to Saint-Jean-Baptiste Boulevard.
A detour will be installed to by-pass the part closed on boulevard D'Anjou. It will follow avenue de la Verdure and Prince and Saint-Julien Streets.
