Mission: Programming!

Place: Salle polyvalente of the library (25, Maple Boul.)

Ages 12 to 17 years old

Learn the computer language Python, a programming language used by computer professionals. Then, use your new skills to meet the challenges set by the facilitation team. Operate a small robot, take and modify a photo to insert it in the Minecraft game, and sicover the basics of how to design a video game. 

Note: workshops must be followed in order. 

 

September 16

Discover the basics of the Python programming language and direct a small robot using your computer interface. 

 

September 23

Discover more complex codes that will allow you to meet the facilitator's challenges with your robot. 

 

October 7

Learn more complex codes and use programming to modify a photo and insert it in the Minecraft game! The basics of designing a video game will also be covered.
