The exhibition ''Châteauguay, what a story!'' starts on Saturday, September 29

Tuesday, 18 September, 2018

Châteauguay, September 18, 2018 - From September 29 to November 30, the outdoor photographic exhibition "Châteauguay ... what a story! " returns for a third year on the site of the old Maison Gravel located at 54, Salaberry South Boulevard. Organized as part of the contest of the same name, this exhibition brings together the best photographs submitted by the residents of Châteauguay and shows the City under three themes: "Witnesses of Times Past", "Locals" and "Reflection".

At the vernissage of the exhibition, which will be held on Saturday, September 29, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. as part of the Journées de la culture, the four winners of this year's edition of the contest will be revealed. In addition to seeing their work featured, the winners will also have the opportunity to see it broadcast in the various communication tools of the City.

Following the presentation of the awards, a Djembe workshop-show will be presented. During this mini-workshop, participants will have the chance to learn the basics of djembe, a percussion instrument with unlimited possibilities!

Admission to the exhibition site is free at all times. Cyclists and pedestrians are invited to stop there, both to take a break and to admire the beauty of our city ... in photos!
