Le Grand Poutinefest in Châteauguay: Exotic Poutines for All Tastes

Friday, 28 June, 2019

Châteauguay, June 28, 2019 – For the first time, Le Grand Poutinefest is coming to Châteauguay! For the occasion, many food trucks will gather in Joseph-Laberge Park, on the banks of the Châteauguay River, to give you the opportunity to eat delicious poutine!

The event will be held on Friday, July 5, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Saturday, July 6, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday, July 7, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. There will be many activities for all ages on the program: musicians and bands, street performers, professional make-up artists and inflatables! Beer lovers can try a selection of microbrewery beers, including Champ libre

Act one forkful at a time!

A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to La Rencontre Châteauguoise. By paying $1 a fork and $2 per beer glass on the site, 100% of the funds will be donated to this local organization. The money raised will be used to develop its social inclusion component to help people experiencing difficulties leading them to become isolated. It’s another good reason to come and enjoy this super event!

Admission to the site is free. Parking spaces are available on the surrounding streets, at the 55+ Centre, at De la Rive School and at the Centre d’éducation des adultes L’Accore. No street sections will be closed for the occasion, but the City is asking drivers who do not need to drive in the area to find an alternative route to prevent traffic bottlenecks.

For more information about the event, we encourage you to visit our website or the Facebook page of the event.
