Grande Fête familiale Sunday, August 18 : Châteauguay, a family story!

Monday, 22 July, 2019

Châteauguay, July 22, 2019 – On Sunday, August 18, from noon to 6 p.m., Châteauguay will once again hold the largest annual event of the region, the Grande Fête familiale!

This festive event takes place on the Billings Park site and offers a rich and diverse program that will please the whole family: public entertainers, corn roast, more than 18 giant inflatables and many other free activities and surprises.

Back this year, the Teen Zone will allow young people to have fun with activities such as paddle boarding, thrill rides and a skateboard ramp. A professional skateboard demonstration is also planned and One Kid One Skate will offer training clinics.

The main stage will host quality professional shows. The group Les Petites Tounes, who travels constantly between singing and dancing for young and old, will be performing at 1 p.m. At 4:30 p.m., Bleu jeans bleu will ignite the scene with, among others, its hits Coton Ouaté and J'te gâte all dressed. The Activ'Été Scene will also feature youth performances from the Activ'Été day camp at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Come visit the several community, sports and educative organizations for the family that will also be there.

Hot dogs, refreshments and "food truck" dishes will be sold on site.

The event is free admission. Due to the many visitors expected at the event, people are invited to park their vehicles along Ville-Marie Street at the Howard S. Billings and St. Willibrord Schools.
