2020–2021 Assessment Roll : Consultations Will Be Held on February 22

Monday, 3 February, 2020

Châteauguay, February 3, 2020 — As proposed during the Municipal Council meeting of January 20, the Ville de Châteauguay and Évimbec—a property assessment firm—will hold consultations on Saturday, February 22, between 9 and 2 p.m., at the chalet in Parc Joseph-Laberge (at the corner of Saint-Francis and Salaberry North boulevards).

Further to the filing of the new assessment roll, valid effective January 1, residents who want more information can talk to an Évimbec representative. To do this, you must first register by calling 450 698-3250 no later than Wednesday, February 19. A specific spot in the schedule will then be assigned to you for meeting with a representative.

To give access to information to as many people as possible, these private conversations will be limited to a maximum of 20 minutes. The meetings are mainly intended to be informative and no request for a change to the assessment roll will be processed during them. However, in light of the explanations provided, residents can file an official request for a review of the value of their property no later than April 30, 2020.
