COVID-19: The City Is Closely Monitoring the Situation

Thursday, 12 March, 2020

Châteauguay, March 12, 2020  The Ville de Châteauguay would like to reassure residents and inform them that it is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, although the risk is still considered weak by Canada’s Public Health Agency.

The City is implementing its intervention plan in case of a pandemic, specifically with regard to general information and government recommendations which are shared with its employees and the whole population.

Any residents who have questions about the coronavirus and/or the appearance of symptoms, such as a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, are asked to call the Info-Santé line by dialing 811, even though the waiting times are long. The Government of Canada’s coronavirus (COVID19) information line is also available to the public: 1 833 7844397.

More information will follow shortly with regard to the various events held by the City and our program of shows produced by Château Scènes. In the event that a show is cancelled, the ticket holders will be notified promptly. You can consult the City’s website to find out which events will be held, postponed or cancelled at the following address:
