Passeport-loisir / Registration

Your reduction card

Have you obtained your Passeport-loisir yet? At a minimal cost per resident or for the entire family and valid for a period of 2 years, this passport allows you to save on numerous activities and outings, while it is obligatory to own one in other occasions (registration, rental, etc.). Non-residents can also obtain a passport that is valid for one year from the date of purchase at a reasonable cost.

Issuing and Renewing a Passeport-loisir

You must present yourself at the recreation department service counter in the Centre culturel Vanier with a piece of identification and proof of residency. To obtain a family Passeport-loisir, proof of residency must be supplied for each member of the family, who must all be present for the taking of the photos.

Proofs of residency (name and address on the same document):
– adults: lease, driver's permit, recent bill or tax bill from the current year,
– children: a school report card for the current year or a hospital identification card or a birth certificate.

Cost:

Residents (valid for 2 years)
$7/person
$12/family (a passeport is issued for each person)
Non-residents (valid for one year starting on the date of its purchase)
$65/person

Refund policy for the activities

No refund is possible for $10 or less.

A refund will be given if requested 10 days before the beginning of the activity. A $10 fee will be deducted as an administration fee.

No refunds will be made less than 10 days before the start of the activity, except on presentation of a medical ticket.

With the presentation of a medical ticket, the refund will be made in proportion to the use minus $10 administration fee. To calculate the pro rata, the date taken into consideration will be the date of the refund request by the customer.

A full refund (without penalty) will be issued only if Ville de Châteauguay cancels or changes the conditions of the latter before the beginning of the activity.

The City reserves its right to cancel or modify any activity whose number of participants does not reach the minimum required.

If the participant does not show up at the time and place of the activity, the City will not be held responsible and will not offer any refund.

Tickets for shows-conferences-cinema are not refundable or exchangeable except in case of cancellation by the City.

Please note that the City will charge a $ 40 fee for any pre-authorized checks or pre-authorized bank debit. These fees are in addition to the fees charged by your banking institution.

This refund policy is valid for all activities under the responsibility of the Ville de Châteauguay. Activities under the responsibility of organizations or associations, even if the registration is carried out via municipal tools (registration software, service counter, etc.), are not subject to the same rules and must comply with the Loi de la protection du consommateur.
