List of buildings affected by a notice of deterioration registered on the land register

Sections 145.41 and following of the Loi sur l'aménagement et l'urbanisme provides the right to the municipality to require, in the event of obsolescence or deterioration of a building, the repair or the maintenance of the building . The city must send to the owner of the building a written notice indicating the work to be done in order for the building to comply with the standards and measures provided by the regulations, and the time required to carry them out.

Peddler's license or itinerant salesman

It is forbidden to solicit for slae door to door in the territory of the City without prior authorization by means of a permit. In addition, publishing agents, peddlers and itinerant vendors doing business in the City must also hold such a license.

To do this, you must complete the form, gather all the required documents in support of the application and file it all at the Inspection Division and permit at City Hall or by email (permis@ville.chateauguay.qc.ca).

Display or sign

Before you build, install, replace, or modify a sign or sign, you must obtain a display authorization certificate.
