Taxibus

Taxibus: a supplementary service to better serve our customers

What is the Taxibus Service?

Taxibus is on-call public transit that CITSO (Conseil intermunicipal de transport du Sud-Ouest) set up to complete its service to areas where buses do not run outside of rush hours.  The Taxibus passengers can transfer to bus lines 31 and 32.

As for service in the industrial park, passengers will transfer to the bus routes in service at the intersection of Saint-Francis and Saint-Jean-Baptiste (Pétro-Canada).

Public transit and reserved lane

Fast and efficient!

The public transit service of the City of Châteauguay is managed by the RTM secteur Sud-Ouest. Guaranteeing a regular service, 7 days a week, the RTM also offers rush hour service, from Monday to Friday for traveling to work as quickly as possible. A bus every 10 minutes and more than forty rush-hour departures will take you in less than 30 minutes to Montreal, thanks to the reserved lanes.

Adapted transit

In tune with people !

In contribution with the minister of transport, an adapted transportation service has been implemented in Châteauguay to encourage social, professional and economic integration of persons with disabilities.
